A wireless network is any type of computer network that uses wireless data connections for connecting network nodes. Wireless networking is a method by which homes, telecommunications networks and enterprise (business) installations avoid the costly process of introducing cables into a building, or as a connection between various equipment locations.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.cambridge.org/us/catalogue/catalogue.asp?isbn=0-521-83716-2&ss=exc )〕 Wireless telecommunications networks are generally implemented and administered using radio communication. This implementation takes place at the physical level (layer) of the OSI model network structure.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.informit.com/articles/printerfriendly.aspx?p=98132 )〕 Examples of wireless networks include cell phone networks, Wi-Fi local networks and terrestrial microwave networks. ==History== *1971 ALOHAnet seminal packet radio system that connected Hawaii islands with a radio network *1991 2G cell phone network *June 1997 802.11 "WiFi" protocol first release *1999 803.11 VoIP integration 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「wireless network」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
